What we do

Our workshops are rooms with machines and tools for different materials and techniques. The areas of interest gather around a shared interest rather than a room, and mostly make use of the workshops' rooms.

This workshop focuses on woodworking with both handheld and stationary machines.

First of all, please read our tutorials before using tools and machines. There is also a workshop introduction that is recommended to be attended.

For table saws, band saws, table routers and planers, workshop introduction is mandatory.

After using the workshop, you must always restore and clean.

Participants help each other with the firing process, and together we clean, maintain, and develop the workshop.

    Area of interest

The Saturday courses are ten courses that are taught on Saturdays, to the current and next generation of makers (i.e. 8 years and older), for both native Swedish speakers and people new to Sweden. The courses follow a learning community setup, in which we try our best and in which we help each other. The goal of the courses is to become a better maker. The dream is that all workshops in the Makerspace have courses on Saturdays!
